Berrien Springs, MI -- May 1, 2002 -- Traditional brick and mortar merchants have a benefit of relying on existing customers to return and buy their products again and again. However, online auction merchants have traditionally lacked the benefit of repeated purchases by existing customers. Auction Contact, LLC has developed a new marketing tool that helps auction sellers increase customer loyalty and therefore increase sales.

The AuctionContact service increases customer loyalty by allowing auction sellers to conveniently and consistently inform their customers about new items available for auction. This is done through automatically generated e-newsletters that are sent to subscribed customers on a weekly basis. The e-newsletters contain a list of the seller’s current auctions, auctions’ end dates and times, current prices, and direct links to the auction pages.

Subscribers can choose either the HTML or Text Only versions for the e-newsletters, and they can choose the length of the subscription as well. The AuctionContact service is currently available for all eBay sellers. The service is offered in three levels based on the number of subscribers: Level 1 allows a maximum of 300, Level 2 a maximum of 2,000, and Level 3 a maximum of 5,000 subscribers. Each level comes with a free trial period: 2 weeks, 3 weeks, and 4 weeks, respectively.

Here is a brief overview of the AuctionContact process:
1)    Auction seller signs up for the AuctionContact service.
2)    Seller posts the “Subscription Form” in his/her auctions and web sites.
3)    Customers and visitors sign up to receive his/her own e-newsletter.
4)    Once a week, the AuctionContact system, automatically generates and sends the e-newsletters to all of the subscribers.
